The Portmore Community College (PCC) was established in 1992 in the sunshine municipality of Portmore. From a vision and fuelled by unswerving determination of a committed staff, the college now operates two campuses; Portmore Campus and Old Harbour Campus with over 2400 students.
PCC continues its mandate to provide high quality post-secondary and tertiary education to Jamaicans. Embodied in our mission statement is the mandate: “To build the human capital of the communities we serve by providing diverse pathways to quality higher education and learning, enhance proficiency, and professionalism …. The college offers experiential learning opportunities through hands on academic experiences, work experience practicum, several co-curricular activities and flexible learning schedules.
